Game 5: Orioles 0, Blue Jays 3
* David Hernandez didn't exactly have has best control - though, I suppose, maybe he actually did - but he was able to work through pretty well. The Jays often had trouble making solid contact, and Hernandez finished with a line of 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 4 BB, 5 K. One of the walks was intentional, and another was semi-intentional (though he did hit a guy to force in one of the runs).Fastball looked pretty good too.
* Nick Markakis walked two more times, giving him a major league leading 8 for the season. I hope to continue gushing about this for a while.
* Luck. The O's only struck out three times, but managed only 6 hits despite putting the ball in play 28 times. Too many easy groundouts, but a .214 BABIP isn't going to happen too often.
The Orioles' offense couldn't get anything going, and the team was shut out for the first time this year. The 3-0 loss drops them to 1-4 on the season, and by 2010 standards it was a blowout.
